Bihar Teacher News: Controversy over Teacher Sultana Khatoon’s Lesson Criticizing PM Modi

Bihar Teacher News: Controversy over Teacher Sultana Khatoon’s Lesson Criticizing PM Modi in class room in Gopalganj in Bihar.

A controversy has erupted in Gopalganj, Bihar, after a female muslim teacher reportedly shared incorrect information about Prime Minister Narendra Modi with her students.

The incident has drawn serious attention from the education department. Villagers and parents have expressed outrage, filing complaints, and the education department is currently awaiting the outcome of an investigation.

At the Upgraded Secondary School in Gopalganj district in Bihar, teacher Sultana Khatoon allegedly gave students a controversial sentence to translate into English, stating, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been fooling people for 10 years.”

This led to anger among parents, who have demanded immediate action from the school administration and the education department. Bihar’s Education Minister Sunil Kumar, who serves as the ex-officio chairman of the school, has also taken note of the situation.

The investigation is being led by BEO Lakhindra Das of Bhore Block, who has requested an explanation from the teacher. He emphasized that it is inappropriate for a public servant to provide students with false information, especially about a leader like the Prime Minister. Further action will be taken based on the teacher’s response.

The incident has sparked widespread anger among locals. Many believe that teaching children such political and objectionable content is unacceptable in schools. Parents have accused the teacher of using politically charged and inappropriate lessons in recent days.

District Magistrate Prashant Kumar C.H. called the matter serious and assured that if the allegations are confirmed, strict action will be taken against both the school and the teacher involved.
