Lalu Yadav Roars: “Narendra Modi Should Be Uprooted Like a Radish”; Challenges Amit Shah

Lalu Yadav Roars: RJD chief Lalu Yadav roars in bypolls meeting and says PM Narendra Modi should be uprooted like a radish. He also challenges home minister and BJP stalwart Amit Shah in Belaganj meeting in Gaya in Bihar.

In an election rally in Belaganj, RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav delivered a fiery speech, calling for unity among Hindus and Muslims, saying, “If we stand together, no power can break us.” He took direct aim at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, declaring that they should be “uprooted like radishes and thrown across the seven seas.”

Four assembly seats—Belaganj, Imamganj, Tarari, and Ramgarh—are holding by-elections in Bihar, with voting scheduled for Wednesday, November 13. Monday marked the last day of campaigning, and the RJD pulled out all stops. Lalu campaigned in Belaganj for MP Surendra Yadav’s son, Vishwanath Singh, while Tejashwi Yadav sought support in Imamganj for Roshan Manjhi.

In the Belaganj rally, Lalu fired up the crowd with his pointed remarks, calling for Modi, Shah, and Nitish to be removed from power. He urged voters to support Vishwanath Singh by pressing the “lantern” symbol on voting day. Staying true to his style, he shared one of his popular slogans, “Lagal lagal jhulaniya mein dhakka, balam Kolkata pahunch gaye” (“With a strong push, my love reached Kolkata”), which was met with enthusiastic applause and cheers from the audience.

Earlier, at a rally in Koderma in Jharkhand, Lalu Yadav had similarly attacked Narendra Modi, calling him “useless” and saying that “this time, the BJP must be uprooted.” He reminded people of the INDIA alliance, saying, “We created the INDIA coalition, which is recognized and remembered worldwide. Against our strength, the BJP stands no chance.”

In Koderma, the RJD has fielded Subhash Yadav as a candidate, who has faced allegations of illegal mining and was previously held in Beur Jail for a significant period.
